Signup now for the Pack 93 USS Hornet Overnight on April 25th!!

Greetings All!

First of all, don't forget our first regular meeting of the month at 6:00 pm on Monday night, March 9th.

Now that we have that out of the way:
April 25th is our official USS Hornet Overnight!
Come aboard and experience a night in the life of a sailor on a WWII aircraft carrier! This will be a unique overnight experience for our scouts and families!
  • Sleep in restored sleeping compartments where the real Hornet crew lived
  • Enjoy Dinner and Breakfast in the Crew’s Mess
  • Learn about this famous aircraft carrier’s daring exploits
  • Tour key areas in the ship and the historical naval aircraft on board
  • Learn about NASA’s Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 space missions that put the first humans on the Moon
  • Ride the Flight Simulator
  • Earn a special crew member Patch & Certificate!
  • Ample Free Parking
We will be participating in the STEM Night Ops program.  Our scouts and family members will visit select areas of the ship to see various spaces and systems and learn about the science behind them.  They will also participate in several hands-on science stations and demonstrations.
Please sign up on our attendance spreadsheet at: http://pack93toro.blogspot.com/p/attendance-spreadsheet.html .  If you have trouble signing up, email your Den Leader and we can add your name.  We currently have reserved spots for 24 participants, so sign up now to lock-in your reservations.  We may be able to add more spots, but there are no guarantees.
