S.F. Giants Baseball Game Change

Hi All,

The S.F. Giants game day is getting close. August 21st.

We were notified by the Giants organization that they have changed their game time from 1:00 pm game time to a 5:00 pm game start time. We know that this may impact some of you in deciding to go or not. We are looking into the possibility to see if there is a refund, but I would not count on this happening.

If you want to have your son participate in the on field event with the pack then he MUST be in uniform, as will be the unit leader(s). Please note the meeting place and time for the on field event.

Lucy has everyone's tickets, and she will be coordinating with you to get them out. If you need to contact her please do so at: 809-4695

We are sorry if this changes your plans we felt sad about the time change as well, but if you decide to go I know the boys will still have fun.

I have attached the official notice to this post.

Dear Boy Scout Day Special Event Attendee,

Please make note of an upcoming game time change. ESPN has selected our Sunday, August 21st game against the New York Mets for Sunday Night Baseball. First pitch is now set for 5:08pm instead of 1:05pm as printed on your ticket. Your original special event tickets for this game are still valid.

If your special event tickets were passed along to another party, please make them aware of this important time change.

Again, first pitch for Sunday, August 21st against the New York Mets is now set for 5:08pm. Gates will open at 3:08pm.

Boy Scout Day On-Field Honor Ceremony Update:
In order to participate in the on-field Honor Ceremony, all Boy Scouts and Troop leaders must be in uniform, have a Boy Scout Day special event ticket and be lined up at the Right Field Portwalk Gate at 4:00 p.m. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.

Thank you for participating in Boy Scout Day at AT&T Park - your involvement is sincerely valued by the San Francisco Giants! We look forward to hosting you at AT&T Park to celebrate our Boy Scouts!

Regards,

Special Events Department
