Pinnacles Hike - October 28

Hi all!

Pinnacles is Saturday October 28th!  We’ll be doing the Balconies Cliffs Cave Loop trail.  Paul will be leading us on this great all ages hike at an amazing time of the year.  We do recommend joining in the carpool. If you’d like to volunteer to drive, let us know.

Please have your son wear their scout t-shirt if they have one.

If you’re attending, add your name to the “attendance spreadsheet” so we know to expect you and we do not leave before you get to the meeting place.
Basic details:
  • Pinnacles West Entrance - $15 per car
  • Balconies Cliffs-Cave Loop trail (2.4 miles, @1.5h)
  • Interested in carpooling?
Meet at the Nob Hill in South Salinas - 9:30AM parking lot near the Shell
Can’t carpool - 11AM - Pinnacles West Entrance (Chaparral Trailhead Parking)

Bring everything you need for a comfortable hike (2.4 miles - @ 1.5h)
  • Plenty of drinking water, food and beverages
  • Flashlights (headlamps work great) and hiking equipment
  • Lunch, snack, water, hats, and sunscreen

Please be aware that the Pinnacles has poison oak, stinging nettles, and rattle snakes do live in the rocks.
